The offer
01

A payments check-up, every six months.

Processing terms get set once and then drift. Rates, reserves, routing, and your risk profile all move while the account sits untouched, and the first sign is usually a payout that does not arrive.

The audit is free, it takes 24 to 48 hours, and you keep the findings whether or not you work with us. Here is what we look at:

Authorization rates

Which transactions are failing, which decline codes are behind them, and what routing is costing you at checkout.

Reserves and payout terms

The percentage held, the release delay, and whether the terms you signed still match your risk profile.

Processing costs

Effective rate by card type and region, and where aggregator pricing is quietly outgrowing your margin.

Risk and chargeback exposure

Your dispute ratio against the card-network thresholds, and the flags an underwriter would see today.

What we do
02

Two problems we solve most.

The audit usually points at one of these. Both are handled by the same team that negotiates with processors every day.

Frozen funds and rolling reserves
Reserve Recovery

When a processor freezes funds or imposes a rolling reserve, we take a data-backed case directly to the people who can release it. Stripe, Shopify Payments, and PayPal are the usual names on the file.

  • Rolling reserves renegotiated, both percentage and hold period
  • Held and in-transit balances released
  • Suspended, limited, and closed accounts reinstated
  • Consultation, proposal, and recovery plan at no cost
Get approved, stay approved
PSP Setup

A full operational audit and hands-on intervention to get you compliant and approved, then placement in our network of 30+ vetted PSPs, gateways, and acquiring banks, backed by a lifetime account warranty.

  • Authorization-rate analysis and decline diagnosis
  • Risk and chargeback mitigation before underwriting sees you
  • Bank policy, licensing, and compliance review
  • Guaranteed onboarding: no approval, no placement fee
Also on the table

Merchants who need more than a fix take Consulting as a Service, a dedicated payments expert on retainer, or the U.S. Expansion Suite, which builds the entity, banking, and processing an international eCommerce seller needs to trade in the U.S. Both come up on the audit call when they apply.

Client message: Stripe reconsidered and removed the account closure
How it works
04

Three steps to your audit.

No cost at any point, and no commitment to work with us afterward.

01
Register your business

Create your MyCompaytence account. It takes a few minutes and becomes the dashboard where your accounts, documents, and case status live.

02
Tell us your goals and what is in your way

What you sell, where you sell it, who processes for you, and what is currently stuck. Your processing statements make the audit sharper, and we can start without them.

03
Get a 30-minute call with actionable insights

A payments specialist walks you through the findings: what is costing you, what an underwriter sees, and the specific moves that fix it. You keep the analysis either way.

The questions merchants ask first.

Nothing, and there is no obligation afterward. You get the analysis and the 30-minute call whether or not you engage us. We scope any actual work with you separately, in writing, before it starts.

A processor holds back a percentage of each sale, often 5 to 10 percent, and releases it on a delay of roughly 90 to 180 days. It is their buffer against chargebacks and it ties up your working capital. We work to lower the percentage and the hold period, or remove the reserve, by answering the underwriting concern behind it.

Usually a jump in chargebacks, fast growth, a high-risk category, or a profile that trips their underwriting, and Stripe and PayPal rarely spell it out. We pinpoint the trigger, answer the risk concern with evidence, and push to get the funds released.

Aggregators like Stripe, Shopify Payments, and PayPal onboard you instantly and can offload you just as fast when volume or risk climbs. Shopify Payments is Stripe underneath, so a merchant running both is running one. We place you with tier-one processors and acquiring banks that underwrite you properly at the start.

It depends on the processor, your category, and how your case presents. Some reserve reductions land in weeks and a contested closure takes longer. The audit front-loads the work so underwriting does not stall, and you get a realistic timeline before you commit to anything.
